You sign up using your **mobile number**, receive a one-time verification code, and you’re ready to discover your next favorite community or experience.

## Creating Your Personal Account

### Creating Profile via Web

1. Visit [sweatpals.com](https://sweatpals.com) 
2. Click on **Log In / Sign Up.**
3. Enter your **mobile number** and select your country code.
4. You’ll receive a 6‑digit verification code sent via SMS.
5. Enter the code to verify your account.
6. You’ll be redirected to your Sweatpals home feed.

### Creating Profile via App

1. Download & open the **Sweatpals App**
2. Tap **Get Started**
3. Enter your phone number
4. Input the SMS verification code
5. Follow the steps to complete your personal profile

## Navigating the Sweatpals App

Within the Sweatpals app, you have a few quick actions:

- **Explore** -> To see trending experiences in your city, where your friends are going, and more.
- **Community** -> To see and signup for experiences from the communities you follow.
- **Passes** -> To access and manage your bookings, bookmarked experiences, plans (like memberships or class packs), and more.
- **Chats** -> To engage in your community- or experience-level group chats, and direct message other users on Sweatpals.
- **Search&#x20;**-> To search directly for a community, experience, or user on the app.
- **Profile icon** -> To view and manage your personal account preferences - such as light/dark mode, privacy settings, payment methods, and more.

## Troubleshooting  Issues

| Issue                   | Solution                                                                                                                                                                                                                     |
| ----------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Didn’t receive code     | Wait 30 seconds → tap **Resend Code.** Only tap it once: requesting several codes in a row can temporarily block new ones for 15 to 20 minutes.                                                                              |
| Code still not arriving | Check your blocked messages and spam filter. Codes can come from different numbers, so there's no single number to allow. If needed, ask your carrier to make sure short code and toll-free SMS aren't blocked on your line. |
| Wrong region code       | Tap flag icon to choose correct country.                                                                                                                                                                                     |
| Code expired            | Request a new one — each code is valid for 2 minutes.                                                                                                                                                                        |
| Using new phone number  | Log in and update number under **Profile →  Settings.**                                                                                                                                                                      |
