connect with your community through event and group chats overview sweatpals chats make it easy to connect with your host and other participants before and after each event you can join event‑specific chats, community‑wide chats, or send direct messages to hosts where allowed 💡 chats are designed for coordination, encouragement, and community building — not promotions joining a chat you’re automatically added to an event chat when you register for that event and it has an associated chat room you can also join community chats if the host enables them switch to the chats tab in your navigation bar to view your active chats chat type who can join purpose event chat registered attendees + host coordinate before the event or share photos after it ends community chat all followers of a community general announcements and social conversation direct message host ↔ member private questions about an event or membership sending a message to start a conversation with a new pal, tap on the search tab and type in their name then, select the "people" tab to look for users with that name 📸 images must follow community guidelines — keep content appropriate and respectful managing chat notifications mute or unmute a chat using the bell icon leave a chat any time by tapping leave chat messages you send remain visible to others even after you leave 🔕 muting a chat stops notifications but you can still read messages any time
