๐ 6.7 Sales Tax Integration
overview hosts now have the ability to integrate sales tax information within their communities, allowing greater control over their accounting you can access it by heading to settings โ tax settings entering your tax information access the tax settings tab by heading to your https //dashboard sweatpals com/v2/settings enter your tax address and product tax code, including its corresponding amount move to the tax registrations tab and use the add registration button to fill in your tax registration information you can add multiple locations if needed, and also check which registrations are active or expired make sure to enter the correct product tax code so that taxes are applied correctly for example, the broad category for communities in the platform is general services tangible goods these details can be edited later on in case any changes are needed after setting up both your tax registration and taxable product code, sales taxes will be added to your events going forward and a tax breakdown will be shown on orders from your community your tax registration must match the location your event is hosted in so that taxes are applied correctly if you host an event in a location not set in the tax registration tab, taxes will not be applied in that particular event you can also refer to collected taxes through your connected stripe account's dashboard under products โ more โ tax โ transactions the tax collected from your sales will be shown in a dedicated column
