Sign up, verify, and complete your initial setup as a host

Overview

This guide is for hosts. If you're joining as a member, see Creating Your Sweatpals Account for Pals.

Sweatpals uses a secure, SMS-based login system for all hosts and members. You can sign up on either the web or mobile app using your phone number — no password required.

Access to Sweatpals isn’t available yet in the following locations: Italy, Mexico, Philippines, Japan, and Thailand.

Go to auth.sweatpals.com

Enter your phone number and click Continue

You’ll receive a 6‑digit verification code sent via SMS

Enter the code to verify

You’ll be redirected to the Host Dashboard

💡 If you already have a personal account, you can switch to a host profile later without creating a new account.

Open the Sweatpals App

Tap "Get Started"

Enter your phone number

Input the SMS verification code

Select your personal profile

Issue	Solution
Didn’t receive SMS	Wait 30 seconds, then click Resend Code
Wrong country code	Update your region flag before entering number
Browser loop	Clear cache or use an icognito browser window.
Device mismatch	Log in from same device used for verification

📱 SMS login ensures higher security and eliminates password resets.

First-Time Host Setup

After your first login, you’ll be prompted to Create or Join a Community.

If you already host events, select Create a New Community.

If you’re joining a team, ask the Owner to invite you.

The Dashboard will automatically route you to the setup checklist.
