communities play a crucial role in hosting events, promoting workshops, and partnering with like minded groups that share similar activities and values if you plan to become a host, creating and managing a community is key to increase your reach mobile app pc and mobile (browser) customizing your community you can further customize or update communities by heading to the overview tab for windows/mac go to sweatpals sweatpals click on create community at the top of the screen choose a name and username for your community set an email address to manage your community select the location where your community is based provide a detailed description of your community to give people a clear understanding of what it’s about select the activities your community will focus on (you can choose more than one) add a cover image to showcase your community and share some community highlights choose a color scheme, then click save and publish for android/ios open the sweatpals app on your phone if you don’t have the app, download it from the google play store or apple app store use your google account or phone number to create an account go to the calendar and tap the "+" button at the bottom right tap start a community choose a name and username for your community set an email address to manage your community select the location where your community is based provide a detailed description of your community to give people a clear understanding of what it’s about select the activities your community will focus on (you can choose more than one) add a cover image to showcase your community and share some community highlights choose a color scheme, then tap save and publish
