Payment Processing for International Hosts
- Stripe automatically handles currency conversion based on your account settings.
- You can price retreats in your local currency (USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, AUD, etc.).
- Fees and payout timelines may vary by country.
- Klarna and other local payment methods are available in supported regions.

Taxes & Legal Considerations
- Review local VAT / GST regulations for your retreat destination.
- Include tax information in ticket pricing if required.
- Consider adding digital waivers covering travel liability and insurance acknowledgment.

- Encourage participants to purchase travel insurance.
- Collect passport information securely via custom questionnaires.

Multi-Language Support
Sweatpals pages are in English by default. For select communities, event pages, checkout and embedded widgets can also show in Canadian French (fr-CA).
When this is turned on for your community, visitors whose browser is set to French automatically see Sweatpals' buttons, labels, dates and checkout in Canadian French. Visitors with any other browser language see English.
- Your own content, like event titles and descriptions, stays exactly as you write it. If you'd like it in both languages, include both versions in your description.
- Emails, notifications and the mobile app are still in English.
