boosted discovery & promotions allows sweatpals to promote your eligible events and classes across its discovery and marketing channels there is no upfront cost to enable this feature a 20% commission applies only to bookings attributed to eligible sweatpals discovery or promotional channels boosted discovery was formerly called discovery commission how your experiences may be promoted when boosted discovery & promotions is enabled, your events and classes may be promoted through channels such as featured placement in the sweatpals app and website meta and google ads managed by sweatpals sweatpals social media email campaigns seo and blog features event site cross posting promotion and placement are determined by sweatpals and are not guaranteed for every experience boosted discovery channels the following channels may be attributed to boosted discovery channel what it includes discovery feed sessions from the discover tab in the sweatpals app or the discover section of the sweatpals website paid marketing paid ad sessions for experiences on meta, tiktok, google, etc organic social link in bio sessions from sweatpals owned and operated social handles lifecycle sessions from sweatpals direct email, sms, or push marketing campaigns sweatpals offers to help attract new or lapsed attendees and members, some boosted discovery & promotions campaigns may include promotional offers offers are funded by sweatpals an attendee or member receives a sweatpals offer they use the offer to book your experience you receive your full listed booking amount sweatpals covers the promotional discount the applicable boosted discovery commission is still deducted based on the booking’s attribution boosted discovery commission a 20% commission applies only to bookings attributed to eligible sweatpals discovery or promotional channels this may include bookings generated through sweatpals discovery surfaces paid ads managed by sweatpals social promotions sweatpals email campaigns other eligible promotional placements sales from your own website, embeds, socials, or direct links are not charged the boosted discovery commission only the standard platform and processing fees apply how attribution works attribution is session based from click if a buyer’s session started through a sweatpals channel, that sale is attributed to boosted discovery sweatpals displays attribution for transactions at the community level experience level transaction level this allows you to see which sales were attributed to boosted discovery and where the commission was applied no upfront cost 💸 there is no fee to turn on boosted discovery & promotions sweatpals only takes the commission when an eligible booking is generated through one of its discovery or promotional channels communities using boosted discovery & promotions may also receive a reduced platform fee of 3% on memberships, retreats, pos transactions, and classes , when applicable enabling boosted discovery & promotions to review or update this setting open the host dashboard go to settings select boosted discovery & promotions turn the feature on or off boosted discovery & promotions is not enabled by default important notes enabling boosted discovery & promotions does not guarantee promotion or placement the 20% commission applies only to eligible attributed bookings sales through your own website, embeds, socials, or direct links are not charged the boosted discovery commission sweatpals determines which experiences and channels are included in promotional campaigns promotional offers may be added to selected campaigns and are funded by sweatpals you can continue sharing your direct event links through your own marketing channels
