Overview
The Sweatpals Financial Dashboard consolidates data from events, classes, and memberships into a single view. All numbers sync with Stripe for accuracy.
Dashboard Metrics
Metric | Description |

Handling Pending/Failed Payments
In some instances, payments from your members may not be confirmed right away. This can be due to a variety of reasons, such as issues with their payment method or incomplete purchases. The status of these payments can be reviewed in the Billing page.
Failed membership renewals will be automatically retried by the system 24 hours after the initial renewal attempt. It will attempt to charge members again 3 times after that in intervals of 3, 4 and 7 days respectively. If the last attempt fails, the system will no longer retry payments for that particular member.
Status | Meaning | Action |

Pending | The checkout process was initiated but never completed, leading to an "abandoned" order. | Currently, it's only possible to cancel pending orders. |
Failed | The customer attempted to complete the checkout process, but ran into an issue with their payment. (e.g. Card declined, incorrect payment info) |

Exporting Reports
1. Go to Dashboard →Events or Memberships. 2. Click Export CSV (Download icon) 4. Download for use in Excel or Google Sheets.

Troubleshooting Financial Reports

Regarding Sales Taxes

13% HST tax line item for Canadian accounts
Sweatpals supports collecting 13% HST, along with other Canadian sales taxes, as a separate line at checkout.
To set it up, add the federal Canada GST/HST registration in Settings → Tax Settings → Tax Registrations. For full details, see 📄 6.7 Sales Tax Integration.
