overview in order to provide more flexibility to communities, sweatpals now offers the option to create appointments unlike events, classes or retreats, appointments are geared towards 1 1 sessions with your community members this feature is currently in beta testing, and is not enabled for communities by default moreover, it is only available in the web version of sweatpals currently if you're interested in trying this out, reach out to our support team at support\@sweatpals com step by step head to the https //dashboard sweatpals com/appointments choose create an appointment enter the details for your appointment, including name, address (or link, for online appointments), description, and images determine the duration for your appointment currently, appointments can be set to 120 minutes at most start time increments determine the time slots available for booking based on your appointment's availability (e g setting start increments of 30 minutes while your availability is 9 00 11 00 am would let members choose from 9 00, 9 30, 10 00, 10 30 and 11 00 ) buffer time increments prevent members from booking appointments within a specified period (e g if your appointment lasts 15 minutes, setting a buffer time of 45 minutes would prevent members from booking a follow up appointment within that time) choose the category (or type) for your appointment a few preset options are available when creating an entry, but you can also enter a custom type select the service provider responsible for this appointment you can select members from your team that have the correct permissions for appointments for more information on team management, refer to ๐งโ๐คโ๐ง 8 4 team management docid\ b4hbasinfvmzu9xamnvlb set the price for your appointment you can also offer appointment packages , letting members purchase credits for multiple appointments finally, configure the date and times available for booking this will let members pick from specific timeslots prior to checkout multiple timeslots can be set for the same day regarding availability keep in mind this configuration applies to the appointment itself if your service providers have varying availability, then we recommend setting up separate appointments for each of your team members that way, you can configure each appointment to account for their schedules additional toggles +waiver includes a waiver that members must sign before completing the checkout process +questionnaire adds a questionnaire to collect data from signups that can be referenced later +refund policy allows signups to refund an appointment purchase on their end up to 24 hours prior to the start time reviewing appointments while in the appointment page, you can take the following actions confirm upcoming appointments this is displayed on the right hand side of the screen, with details on the timeslot, designated service provider, and member edit appointment details, including the service provider assigned to it duplicate your appointment, in case you'd like to set up a similar appointment in the future delete your appointment this can only be done if no one booked a time yet keep in mind that all associated data with it will be permanently removed manually book a client to your appointment manual booking currently, only members holding a package session can be added manually by clicking on the +add icon next to the appointment, or by clicking on the appointment itself then heading to +book client , you can manually add a member to an appointment select the appointment you'd like to add them to assign that booking to one of your service providers choose one of the available timeslots select the member and confirm the booking optional you can also send an email notification to them confirming the booking adjusting credits you can opt to update a member's credits from a purchased package manually this is useful on instances where they were unable to attend an appointment for any reason, and you'd like to grant them the credit back select the appointment booked by the member head to the packages tab, and look for the member in question click on the more ( ) option to the right of their row, and choose edit credits adjust the credits to your preferred amount, and hit save optionally, you can add notes to clarify why the credits were adjusted canceling a booking select the appointment in question find the member, and click on the more ( ) option select cancel booking you'll get the option to provide a refund alongside the cancelation frequently asked questions q how are members and service providers notified of these appointments? a both of them are notified via their connected email address they'll receive a confirmation message, containing details on the appointment
